Mountain Machu Picchu, is located south-west of the Inca city of Machu Picchu and rises about 3,082 meters, sits right in front of the Huayna Picchu mountain, and is visible on the left side of the Inca trail, exceeds the height City of Machu Picchu for more than 650 m .; the name of this mountain translated into Spanish means Old Mountain.

The climate in this region is often unpredictable at any time of year, so you should be prepared with rain gear and sun, as well as sunscreen and rain poncho, whatever the case. Comfortable hiking boots with non-slip floor is recommended.
