It is important to note that the Machu Picchu tickets will only include the circuits that each route presents, none of the tickets will include any extra or additional service. In this sense, you will only be able to follow the route of the ticket purchased. Even if you have a Circuit 1 ticket, it does not mean that you will be able to do the 4 panoramic routes. Even if some sections of the routes coincide up to a certain point, you will always be able to find the road that divides or separates them. There you will often find a park ranger, attentive to ensure that the visitors’ route is properly followed. It is important to maintain good order and respect to comply with the routes, this is the only way to ensure a good experience for all visitors.
How to better understand the changes in Machu Picchu?
Machu Picchu tickets are now considered routes. These new routes will be inserted within the 3 new circuits. The new circuits are nothing more than a sectorization of Machu Picchu. Which allows you to see, tour and visit Machu Picchu from different perspectives. Thus, generating new experiences that we hope will last correctly in each of the visitors.
On the other hand, by sectoring the attractions, we hope to maintain an adequate flow of tickets and routes of Machu Picchu. By sectorizing the tours, a good group of visitors will be able to be in only one sector of Machu Picchu, and the interruption during the explanations will be minimal. Likewise, the crowds that are usually a nuisance at the time of making the tours and even at the time of taking a picture. We hope that now the tours will be more free of crowds and that they will allow a better tour of the desired Circuit or Route.
